On the eve of Teacher's Day, President Droupadi Murmu conveyed her best wishes to educators across the nation, emphasizing their role as guides for society and architects of the country's future.
In her message, she stated, 'On the occasion of Teacher's Day, I extend heartfelt greetings to all teachers in the country. This day also marks the birth anniversary of the esteemed educator, philosopher, and former President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who serves as an inspiration for the entire nation.'
She further remarked, 'Teachers are the guiding lights of our society and the builders of our nation's future. Through their wisdom, knowledge, and values, they nurture ideas in students from generation to generation, inspiring them towards excellence and innovation.'
The President highlighted that as India strives to achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation, the role of teachers in shaping responsible, knowledgeable, and skilled citizens becomes even more crucial.
She concluded by urging everyone to create a supportive environment that honors teachers and fosters creativity, compassion, and innovation among students. 'I hope our educators succeed in nurturing enlightened students who will elevate India to new heights,' she expressed.
